Russell and Debbie Brewer

Rev. Russell and Debbie Brewer have served as senior pastors of Emmanuel since August of 2007. They met while attending Olivet Nazarene University. They have served in pastoral ministry for over 40 years. Debbie has been a public school teacher and directed numerous children’s ministry activities on the Illinois District. Pastor and Debbie believe in ministry to all ages. Pastor has served in numerous capacities on the Illinois District for many years and his ministry mantra is “Someone you know needs Jesus!” Pastor and Debbie have two adult children, Jennifer and Aaron and three granddaughters who are the light of their lives.

James and Becky Brunner

Pastor James Brunner has been part of Emmanuel Church serving as Associate Pastor since September 2020. The Brunner’s have pastored several churches and served in various capacities. Pastor James and Becky have four children, Beth, Jimmy, John and Ben. The Brunner’s are a vital part of Emmanuel Church and have servants hearts and desire to see people come to know Christ.

Dr. Bob and Jennifer Wilkerson

Bob and Jennifer Wilkerson serve Emmanuel Church as Evangelists in Residence. Bob and Jennifer have spent their lives in the parsonage and both come from pastors homes. The call to ministry came at early ages for both of them. Bob attended Trevecca Nazarene University and Emmanuel Bible College where he earned his Bachelor’s and later Masters Degrees. In 2011 he was awarded his Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Holy Trinity University. Bob has spent the last 30 years pastoring, planting churches, leading worship and as an Evangelist. Jennifer, a talented and anointed vocalist in her own right has worked in the music industry and sang with southern gospel groups as well as traveled in solo capacities as a worship leader and soloist since 2005. She and Bob met in Nashville, TN and married in 2009. They have twin daughters, Chloe and Hannah who are 6 years old. Bob and Jennifer travel across the country holding revivals, camp meetings, retreat, concerts and special events. Whether they’re at home or on the road you will find them joyfully serving Emmanuel church in numerous capacities. Everybody needs Jesus is Bob and Jennifer’s ministry mantra and they truly live that!
